Wines

A carefully chosen selection of wines that reflect the best of Spain.

About

Spain is the second largest country of Europe and has been producing wine since about 1000 B.C. It is the third largest wine producer in the world growing more vines than anywhere else in Europe does, but because of its mainly dry climate, and the fact that irrigation is illegal, except in a few instances, Spain produces less wine than either Italy and France do. What makes Spain such a wonderful place for wines is the sheer variety, with each of the many viticultural regions having its own unique personality.

Rioja

From Bodegas Rondan in Rioja Alta we have a superb selection of Joven, Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva reds, and also white and rosado.

Navarra

Gran Reserva red.

Ribera del Guadiana

Full and fruity classic red.
